We are excited to be adding group rides again this summer as the COVID-19 situation continues to be brought under control. We will still be respecting all COVID protocol. If you are sick, or have been exposed to someone who is sick, please stay home. We will maintain social distancing, and ask that all riders have a mask available should we need to stop somewhere.
NEW YEARS BUCK NAKED RIDE IS BACK! CLUB RIDE - SUNDAY, JANUARY 1ST, 2023 @11:00AM
Come join your MTB family to welcome in the New Year at the Buck Naked ride on the Buck Ridge Trail at Hensley Lake. All levels are welcome. We will organically break into groups based on ride/ability level.
The Buck Naked ride has a long tradition and many stories behind it’s name. Come out and ask some of our veteran riders how they remember it getting it’s name. The only thing in common… is that everyone will have a different version of the story!
RECURRING RIDE - THURSDAYS AT TESORO VIEJO - EVERY THURSDAY - TIME VARIES BY TEMPERATURE
This ride happens every Thursday out at Tesoro. During the summer, we have a big group that gathers some time between 5 and 6 pm for a ride, and stays for snacks and beverages after at the Axis Cafe.
During the winter when days are short, a smaller group still rides every day starting between 3 and 4pm.

BASS LAKE JOINT RIDE WITH CCORC AND GIRLZ GONE RIDING - CLUB RIDE - SUNDAY APRIL 24, 2022 @ 9:00AM

TURKEY BURN OFF RIDE - BROWNS DITCH, NORTH FORK (BOTTOM OF 007) - FRIDAY NOV 26 @ 10AM
Come burn off some of that turkey and pie with your CCORC family on Friday after Thanksgiving, at 007 up at Bass Lake.
Ride starts at 10:00am to allow some sleep in time, breakfast with the family, and kick any T-day stragglers out the door.
We will meet at the Browns Ditch parking area (maps to be posted before the ride day), and will use this as home base for food and gathering.

007 is famous as our local downhill run. We will have plenty of people there willing to show first timers the fun and flowy lines down the trail.
The “drop in” to the first section of 007 is about a 5 mile fire road climb up Central Camp Road. We will keep you posted on the availability of shuttles as we find them, but it is free to ride up any time of the day.
Those who wish for a more mellow downhill experience can come back down the same fire road we went up.
The first section of 007 is a great intro to down hill for first timers. There are a few rocky sections that going can choose to walk if you aren’t comfortable with them, but majority of the ride is solid, fast and fun dirt that can be ridden at any speed you wish, from slow to “send it, bro!”.
There may be a group interested in riding around part of the lake to Goat Mountain and Spring Cove trails. Feel free to drop a note in the event if you’d like to gather some folks for that.

Join your CCORC family at Tesoro Viejo to bring in the New Year with some family friendly riding, track stand competition, hill climb time trial up no-palm tree hill (and maybe a few others?), wheelie competition, and food.
